We had an obgyn appointment last Friday (going every two weeks now). We got a sneak peak at our lil' nugget on an ultrasound. Everything looks great and she was measuring at a whopping 6 pounds (should be about 4.5-5 with 6 weeks left)! Slow down there Missy or this is really going to hurt! Hopefully, she'll slow down a bit, but if not, I'll take a chubby baby girl over a scrawny one any day -- I've heard they sleep much better.
The ultrasound also revealed a full head of hair! I didn't even know you could see that kind of detail, but that would explain all the heartburn I've had! The pic attached shows her hair on the back of her head - it's the white fuzzy stuff on the back of her head where the arrow is pointing. Donnie's hoping it's enough hair to mohawk it so she can rock n' roll right out of the womb. We'll find out in about 5 weeks!!
